100 Beauties Event, 400 Views, Nikki's Official Fans Group and More!

Hey! So I know I haven't posted in a while. It was mostly because of the 100 Beauties event where I spent ALL my time collecting rouges.* I was getting SO SICK of replaying the levels! (Just so you know, I told everyone that I was sick of it. Hahaha.)

*Just in case, you missed the event or if you're new, the event was to basically play at an event map where each challenge would provide you with a rouge and you would be able to exchange a number of rouges for a piece of clothing/hairstyle/accessories/etc... The outfits you can exchange for have a high number of hearts are a part of an outfit achievement category called "100 Beauties". It isn't so bad until you realise that you only get 1 rouge each time you play a challenge (and you don't get it every time) and you had to exchange 100++ rouges (up to 160++ for the dresses/makeups) to get just ONE ITEM. It was fun at first but after 10 days of clicking "Highest", it was the worst. I only managed to collect one outfit out of the two before I gave up and realised I had no time. People lost sleep over this!

I decided not to publish the guide for the event map on my blog since it was an event and it would become useless after it was over. Plus, people were sharing a lot in the Official Fans Group (you can click here and navigate to the fans group. The official page advertises it a lot) so not so reasonable to publish here. BUT, being the love-to-help person I am (not sure if that's right haha), I did it *almost* blogging style as a post on the wall of the fans group.

SO! Well, after I returned from my long trip in the event map, I realised, 400 VIEWS. WOW. I am soooo impressed and I really thought no one would want to come look at it especially with the fans group and their large albums of guides (albeit lack of detail *smiley face with teeth*) and my slowness (is that even a word?) with the progress of the maps. I have to say, my progress on the maps aren't as slow as me publishing it, I just haven't found the time to compile the screenshots. It also takes a whole bunch of time to scroll through the photos looking for the right one (they don't list the number in the rating scene!) and to transfer them to my computer. Currently, I just finished Germany and am on to Switzerland. Yes, I know. Some of you might think it's a d**k move but... I'm sorry, okay? *Bats eyes at you and smiles with teeth* It's also my summer break! Which explains my complete unproductive-ness (yes, I know it's not a real word) these days. This blog is probably the most productive thing I've been doing.

One thing I realised while playing Hello Nikki is that as the maps progress, it actually gets easier. For me, anyway (it might be different for you). I don't know... maybe it's because I gain more experience or gain better clothes but ever since I stopped playing the event map, I've been speeding through them. Literally. I rarely even need help! Which of course makes me kinda sad because then you guys won't need my blog/guide anymore. Just come for reference! Of course, you can just go to the official fans group since they have more reference but then you won't get to hear me rant or explain in so much detail that you just skip everything, right? It won't be as much fun. See? That's why you should totally keep viewing my blog. I wonder, if I posted rants/opinions on different subjects/experiences would you guys actually read them? Hmm... Only one way to find out, right? Haha!

So far, there doesn't seem to be anymore events like 100 Beauties so I guess it should be fine. I'll try to gather up my screenshots ASAP! I'll see you again, dearies! Muacks! *cheeeeese*

The clue for this challenge was to dress up like a Panda. All the panda themed clothes and accessories were bought with gems therefore, I only bought the skirt which was enough to give me an "A" rating. I'm not willing to spend the gems for this but if you are, by all means, get those panda themed clothes. There is also a suit achievement for that so if you want it, go for it. I also looked into other suggestions for this challenge but even though the other outfits gave an "S" rating, it didn't follow the theme of the challenge at all and I personally do not like to go out of theme. However, if you really want to get an "S" rating, you can find it in the Hello Nikki Official Fans Group by going to their Official page here and navigating to the group.

Japan II 038 Traveller-Nikki 12

So I had way too much fun with this challenge that I thought that it should have its own post! Especially since I would love to explain everything. If you don't wanna read the explanations or descriptions, just look at the picture and you'll know what you need. However, I recommend you to read the entire thing (of course I recommend you to) as it will give you much more detail. I hope you enjoyed this challenge as much as I did.

This was one of my favourite challenges and I had a lot of fun with it. It called for a vulgar/exagerrated. The character in the story "Salesclerk Girl A" wanted an outfit for people not to fancy her. Therefore, I chose clothes that were inappropriate, outrageous and mismatching. Below are THREE different ratings (Okay, I had a wee bit too much fun with this challenge) for the challenge.

I started of easy just to gage the level of outrageousness I needed... (Left picture) Since I assumed through the dialogue that they were probably going for a meal at a restaurant, a bikini would be the most inappropriate thing. I added in a fluffy coat for that look of a prostitute. I chose really cheap shoes (one of the first default ones you get when you first play the game), Sampot-White but that didn't really give me much. Next (middle picture), I decided to change the hairstyle for a more "clubbing" style (inferring from the description of the hair), I exchanged the bikini for a more "provocative-looking" one-piece and following the "prostitute" look, I wore the Giants Feast's high heeled gladiator. However, that didn't give me much either. In the next round (right picture), I tried going with a more subtle, childish, feminine look and went with the Drizzled Snow which is a more Japanese Style and a Sailor Hat. My rating didn't increase but I the score did and I figured that I was going the right way.

So (first picture), I managed to reach an "A" rating by adding in a totally mismatched socks (I used the Japanese styled one and some accessories (again, shows how important accessories are). I added in a "Hawaiian" necklace (although this usually doesn't negatively affect other challenges but I like to think that it boost my rating for its mismatchy-ness. I also added in a "Sugar-Coated Fruit" to follow up with the childish aspect I went for. Since it worked. I decided to continue with that aspect and throw in a cute, childish bag (second picture). Because what is worst than a child prostitute? Since I got that "Candy-Bear" bag for free (it was a gift from the game), I used a similar one "Candy-Rabbit" which cost me an awful lot of gems (third picture). I also changed the outfit back into a bikini. In the fourth picture, I added "Senior Vision" which has a description for showing seniority and a random belt (for mismatching). By now, I had a mismatched, childish but senior prostitute. It can't get any better than that! Or can it?

Below, here we can see three "A" ratings with different scores. Since the challenge asked for "sporty" while the title screamed men, we needed sporty clothes for men. In the first picture on the most left, we went for men's clothes. This was however not enough and we would also be missing a crucial part of the dialogue where it mentioned "baseball cap". Here in the middle picture, Nikki is seen wearing a baseball cap with "climbing trousers" which are geared more towards the "sporty" aspect. In the third picture, the most right, Nikki is going for full sporty with just the hairstyle "Neutral Style" which is geared mostly for "men". While shopping for clothes in the store, a key word for men's wear is "handsome". Almost everything with a description that includes "handsome" works for all men's challenge. I was looking for some sporty pants with the description of "handsome" and I did! Unfortunately, my "level" is not high enough and I am unable to purchase it. It is called "Millitary Pants-Black" and I think that it might give enough points to boost this the rating to an "S" rating. If I do achieve that level, I'll update it ASAP.
